Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Profitap, you will participate in designing and developing our traffic analysis systems.

Working closely with our software development team and our network engineers, you will have the opportunity to shape the user experience for our solutions. This position will allow you to explore and learn more about how network traffic data can be used to monitor and troubleshoot complex computer networks.

Our solutions need highly performant, user-friendly, and designed following the latest technical standards. With over 1,100 clients from over 70 countries, you can work in an international environment and contribute to better network visibility and analytics on all traffic across physical and virtual infrastructures globally.

You and your skills:

• You have strong proficiency with SQL and experience with OLAP database management systems.
• You have a solid understanding of database architecture, indexing, and optimization techniques.
  
• You have hands-on experience with columnar storage database systems.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

You will be a perfect match if:

• Experience with Git version control
• Experience with GNU/Linux is a plus
